Easter Sunday PDF Print E-mail

Well, we have moved into our new location!  We are in but not yet complete.  We still have lots to do to get the remodeling completed.  We worked very hard the last three weeks and are taking a few days to rest.  We will work at it again later this week.

Just wanted you to know how much I have appreciated what God has been doing in our midst.  For those who don't know, we had two ladies accept Christ following our service on Sunday.  We will be dedicating five children on Sunday.  We need to begin discipling the new believers.  Please continue to pray.  There is a direct correlation between our praying every Sunday for 30 minutes between 5:30 and 6:00 and what is taking place in people's lives and the new believers.

Easter Sunday in March 23.  I hope that we can have the sanctuary completed by that Sunday.  We still need to raise the funds for the remodel.  God has provided for the rent and He will provide for those expenses also.  Continue to pray and thank Him for what He is doing and will continue to do for us!
On Sunday, we will provide details of what we will do on Easter.  It will be a great time of Celebration and contemplating the sacrifice that Jesus made for us and what He accomplished when He arose!  What a wonderful future we have because He lives!  If you don't know Him as your personal Savior you are missing the glorious life He has for all of us who know Him!
Please continue to pray for Suann and I.  We have so much that we want to do to nurture you, especially those who are so young in the Lord!  I don't have everyone's email address, so we need to gather them so I can write to them also.
Thanks for all you do to make NLCF what it is!  We have a great spirit of fellowship and openness in this family.  Get to know the new folks.  Take time to fellowship with each other.  I know we are busy, but we really do need each other!
Talk to you soon!  You are loved.

Exciting News for Your Information
All:  Good evening all!  I wanted to write to you for two reasons:  1) to follow up on something that was annnounced in church this morning.  We have been blessed to have Nillia (Red) & Shirely Noyes transfer their membership to NLCF this morning.  Red is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.  Over the past few month, we both have been praying about how he could be used in ministry and also enjoy his retirement.

Individuality

I am a great fan of Oswald Chambers.  He speaks to me in ways no other writer does.  Recently, he wrote this devotional.  It may speak to some of you who are having difficulty in understanding why you may not be hearing God correctly.  I am praying for you as you do read it!
