We Really Need Each Other PDF Print E-mail

I am  becoming very much aware of how much we really need each other.  Some of the families in our congregation are facing some very difficult days.

They are at a place where they don't have too many places to turn for assistance.  They are struggling with what decisions they should make about some very serious issues. The issues are not easy to face and there are some who would try to defeat what God is doing in their lives.
Most of us in the congregation understand what they are going through.  We have been in church long enough that it is engrained in us as the right place to be because we know that we will find the strength to face difficult times by being there.  However, some have not arrived at that place yet.  That is where we really do need each other.
Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 3:18:  "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
All of us need each other because we learn from others our need to pray for them.  I need your prayers in being able to teach the truth to you so you will respond correctly to your circumstances.  Those who are weak need those who are strong to pray for them and believe for them because they can't yet.  Those who are strong need those who are weak to share their struggles so they know how to pray for you.  Everyone in the congregation needs every other person in the congregation because the Lord wants allof us to be changed into his image and reflect his glory.  That is a lot of truth.
Philippians 1:6 tells us that we can be 'confident of this, that he who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.'  He is working in us and will continue to do so until the end.
Pray for each other...testify to each other...support each other...love each other1
